The Random Run-In: Jay-Z and Artist Ellen Grossman

This sweet old lady might not have known she was riding next to Jay-Z, but did he know he was riding next to Ellen Grossman? The viral video of Jay-Z sweetly introducing himself as "Jay" to a beautifully clueless older lady was taken from his upcoming documentary Jay-Z's Life and Times: Where I'm From. It was later pointed out that this woman is Ellen Grossman, a New York artist and sculptor who works primarily with metallic gel and aluminum screening. Check out her artwork:
